Are you tired of getting those stupid, cold, waste of time “E-Cards”? You know, the funny little animated greeting that someone heartlessly sent you because they didn’t want to waste the time to actually send you a real card?  Yeah? Well, we’re tired of them too.

GalTime’s latest article is a list of 6 tasty fat burning foods you probably already have in your kitchen. We rummaged through the Daily Buzz kitchen and rounded some up. You may not even realize they’re so healthy for you!

1. Oatmeal. Eliminate the instant for the unflavored, unsalted and unsweetened Quaker Oats or Irish stone cut oats. If you have the need for sweetened oatmeal, berries, especially raspberries gives off that sweet taste with the smell of fresh berries in the morning. Oatmeal lowers your cholesterol levels and it contains large amounts of soluble fiber that flushes out the bad acids hiding in the stomach.

2. Almonds or any other unsalted nuts. The monounsaturated fats and fiber in almonds and many other unsalted nuts suppresses your appetite which causes you not to be hungry and crave foods that are high in carbs. They are rich in vitamin e and their monounsaturated fats help lower your LDL cholesterol, the bad cholesterol, and raise your HDL cholesterol level, the good cholesterol.

Generally I’d consider myself just a people person – I like getting to know people!

But a recent conversation with my friends made an assumption that sorta disturbed me – while my girlfriends all defended my friendliness as part of my quirk, my guy friends all chose to label it as over-friendliness….. as in I want a man’s beef if I compliment his hair. Yup. They called me a Flirt or more accurately a Tease.

But what makes a girl a Flirt? All my actions were subconscious, only when they were pointed out did I start to realize that maybe.. JUST MAYBE… guys were getting the wrong idea – and trust me, it’s actually pretty crazy!

These are some of the top items that we are seeing spike in Search on Yahoo!

Princess Diana: Searches for Princess Diana are up 1,169% today on Yahoo! as folks remember her on what would have been her 50^th birthday today (July 1^st). According to Yahoo! Clues, 1 in 4 searches this week are by men and the top countries searching most for her are United States, Canada, Philippines, Malaysia and Australia. Interestingly, the United Kingdom is the no. 6 country searching most for her.

Magic Tricks: With school out and kids on summer break, we’re seeing searches for “magic tricks” spike this week. We’re even seeing searches spike off the charts this week for “how to levitate.” Kids are definitely the ones interested, making up 67% of searches for “magic tricks” and 87% of searches for “how to levitate” this week on Yahoo!.

Questions of the week: Each week we see people come to Yahoo! to search for answers. This week is no different. Some of the quirky questions we are seeing searched are: “how much is a stamp”, “how to clean a vinyl record” and “how to tie a karate belt”.

Women’s Tennis Domination: Women’s tennis is the top sports related search today on Yahoo!. Searches for Sharapova and Lisicki are spiking. Sharapova gets 16 times more searches than Lisicki. Lisicki searches are up 540% today. Sharapova has long been a hot topic for the guys. They make up 82% of searches for her.

Cloud Computing: Searches are up 9,753% for “cloud computing” on Yahoo!. People are curious “what is cloud computing” and want to find a “cloud computing overview”. Interestingly, in past years we used to see searches for “what is a social network” on Yahoo!

These are some of the top items that we are seeing spike in Search on Yahoo!:

Prince Harry’s New Flame?: Does Prince Harry have a new girlfriend? Searches for Florence Brudenell-Bruce are spiking on Yahoo! today 175% after word that she might be the latest flame of the eligible bachelor. According to Yahoo! Clues, 61% of searches are coming from the gentlemen.

Willy Wonka: Today is the 40^th anniversary of the 1971 film, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, and searches on Yahoo! today for “charlie and the chocolate factory” are spiking off the charts today. The top searched candy this week on Yahoo! is: Hershey’s chocolate, followed by Skittles and m&m’s.

Women’s World Cup: Seems the US is joining the rest of the world in its interest in soccer.  Searches today on Yahoo! for “U.S. Women’s Soccer Roster” are spiking 699% and searches for “FIFA Women’s World Cup” are up 149% today as the tournament kicked off this week in Germany. Interestingly, 3 in 4 searches today on Yahoo! for “women’s world cup” are by men (see here on Yahoo! Clues: http://yhoo.it/FIFAcup).

Define Austerity: While the word “austerity” spiked in 2010, with many EU countries adopting leaner budgets, searches spiked 595% today on Yahoo! for “austerity” and 425% for “austerity definition,” as Greece battles their debt crisis.

Babymooning: It seems more parents-to-be are enjoying their final trips together before their babies arrive, as we’re seeing search interest this week for “babymoon,” “babymoon vacations,” and “babymoon vacation packages,” on Yahoo!
